In some divisions, Indofood has harnessed technology to digitize our supply chain under innovation initiatives that focus on our manufacturing processes and inventory management. Apart from improving production efficiency, this puts in place mechanisms to mitigate against future disruptions. An example is major initiative by the Indonesian Government called “Making Indonesia 4.0”, to move manufacturing industries towards digitizing production processes.
